| Equity |
| The mission of the local equity committee is to act as a resource for the local and membership on discrimination and conflict issues.
Our vision is to build a Union where members of all cultures, religions, sexual orientations, gender, disabilities, ages, and nationalities feel welcomed, respected, and heard; and where the leadership relects
the diversity of our membership.
The committee on equity will also make it clear to management and to all union members that the union is committed to dealing with the needs and protecting the interest of the "entire membership and our communities".
